Orbit is the autonomous mode of the Presence Engine. It is not a sixth layer of the engine and not a separate product: it is the mode the engine runs in. The same audits, the same server-side fixes, the same content, the same replies. The difference is that nobody has to ask for them.
Orbit decides what your brand needs this week, does it, and brings it to you for a yes.
Why it exists
Every marketing platform ever sold shares one flaw. It waits. It waits for someone to log in, read the dashboard, work out what matters, and then do the work by hand. The dashboard was never the bottleneck. The person was.
Orbit removes the wait. It does not surface a fix and hope. It writes the fix, applies it server-side, measures the lift and moves to the next one. It does not hand you a content calendar to fill. It reads where you are losing citations and writes the piece that wins them back.
The engine was always capable of running itself. Orbit is us letting it.
The engine did not change. The driver did.
CLEO is not sold as a manual tool and an autonomous tool. It is one engine with two modes, and the difference is who is holding the wheel.
| Assisted | Orbit | |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | Included in every plan | The autonomous mode |
| Who drives | You operate. CLEO assists. | CLEO operates. You approve. |
| A site fix | CLEO finds the fix. You choose when to apply it. | Orbit finds it, writes it, applies it. You see it in the queue. |
| An article | CLEO drafts the article. You commission it. | Orbit commissions it from the gap in your citations, writes it, publishes it. |
| A reply | CLEO drafts the reply. You post it. | Orbit drafts, schedules and posts, in your voice. |
| The score | CLEO shows you the score. You act on it. | Orbit acts on it. Daily. Then shows you what moved. |
What runs
Orbit runs the five layers you already know.
- Local. Reviews fetched and answered, the Business Profile kept accurate and active, posts and Q&As published on cadence.
- Search. Audits on schedule, fixes written into the CMS, redirects, schema and internal links kept clean without a ticket.
- AI Search. Queries watched daily across the engines, losing answers rewritten, readiness held intact as the site changes.
- Social. Conversations found, replies written in your voice, the calendar filled and posted.
- Orchestration. The month planned from what the data says is missing, and every action above routed into one approval queue.
Four surfaces, one loop, nobody driving.
The control
Autonomy without approval is just risk. Orbit is built on approval, not around it.
Every action is logged with its before and after. Applied fixes reverse in one click. And Orbit tells you at setup what it cannot touch on your stack, rather than failing quietly three weeks in.
Set the depth, per surface
- Approve every action. Nothing leaves the queue without your yes.
- Approve by category. Clear the fixes once, and read every reply before it posts.
- Approve once. Set the loop running on a surface, and read what moved.
The depth is set per surface, so the setting that suits your site fixes does not have to be the setting that governs what gets said in your name on social.
You keep the only job that should never be automated. Saying yes.
What it costs
Autonomy costs what the work costs.
Orbit doubles your subscription. Whatever your subscription is.
SEO + GEO at $300 per site per month becomes $600 with Orbit. SEO + GEO with Social at $500 becomes $1,000. Enterprise carries Orbit as standard. Orbit requires SEO + GEO, because the loop does not work in pieces.
The second half of that price is not a feature. It is the operator. In Orbit, CLEO is not producing suggestions for someone on your team to action: it is doing the auditing, the fixing, the writing, the replying and the posting. Priced against the person who would otherwise do that work, it is not a close comparison.
