01
Presence Growth
Presence Growth is the discipline of growing a brand's presence on every surface a buyer looks at, Maps, Search, AI Search, Social and Reviews, and turning that presence into pipeline. Organic first, because organic converts, then paid, for reach. It starts at the crawl layer and ends in the pipeline.
A Presence Growth Engine is the system that runs Presence Growth end to end. It measures all five surfaces on one index, writes fixes server-side, publishes content, earns citations and reviews, captures leads and amplifies with paid. CLEO by RegenAI is the Presence Growth Engine, and the seven category criteria say what qualifies.
Presence-Led Growth is the practice Presence Growth describes: growing a brand's presence across every surface a buyer looks at, Maps, Search, AI Search, Social and Reviews, before spending on paid reach. It is never abbreviated. CLEO by RegenAI runs it end to end, from the crawl layer to the pipeline.
Presence to Pipeline is the test CLEO holds every surface to: presence that does not produce a lead is a vanity metric. The engine captures leads with names, companies and context, so the work on Search, AI Search, Social and Reviews is measured by what reaches the pipeline, not by a score.
The span of presence CLEO runs. At one end is the map: a brand's Google Business Profile, where a nearby buyer finds it. At the other is the model: the AI engine that answers a buyer's question and names a brand. Search, Social and Reviews sit between them.
The version of a website that a machine actually reads: the server-rendered source, before any JavaScript runs. It is the foundation beneath the five surfaces. AI crawlers do not execute JavaScript, so a fix that is not in the crawl layer does not exist for them.
One index across the surfaces, and the metrics that sit underneath it.

The CLEO Index
The CLEO Presence Index (the CLEO Index) scores brand presence 0 to 100 across seven weighted signals: Owned at 45%, SEO, Social, Local and GEO Readiness, and Earned at 55%, GEO Visibility, Reviews and Mentions & PR. Signals without data are excluded, and coverage is always shown, at 95% confidence.
The AI Readability Score (ARS) measures how extractable a website is to AI crawlers, scored 0 to 100 across six signals: crawler access, JavaScript rendering, structured data, content quality, content size, and llms.txt and AI meta. A higher score means ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude can read and cite the site more easily.
The GEO Score (Generative Engine Optimisation Score) measures how often, and how prominently, a brand is cited in AI-generated answers, scored 0 to 100 with a Wilson Score interval at 95% confidence. It is reported across the engines a plan tracks, so the number carries its own statistical range rather than a bare figure.
The Citation Loop is the feedback cycle that compounds presence: content published in formats AI crawlers can extract earns citations, those citations read as authority signals, and that authority raises the probability of the next citation. Each citation increases the odds of the next, so growth is geometric rather than linear.

01
AI visibility
AI visibility is whether, and how favourably, AI systems such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity cite your brand when someone asks the question your buyers ask. It is one surface. Measurement alone does not move it: a score tells you the gap exists, it does not close it.
Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) is the practice of structuring a brand's content and site so an answer engine, an AI system that responds to a query with a direct answer rather than a list of links, can find, understand and cite it.
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is the discipline aimed at generative search: structuring a brand's presence so systems such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity surface and cite it in the answer they generate. It is the same work as AEO, aimed at the generative answer, and CLEO measures it with the GEO Score.
Assisted is the mode included in every plan: you operate and CLEO assists. CLEO finds the fix and you choose when to apply it, drafts the article and you commission it, writes the reply and you post it. The engine is the same one Orbit runs; the hands are yours.
Orbit is the autonomous mode of the Presence Growth Engine. In every plan, CLEO finds the work and you apply it. In Orbit, CLEO plans the work, does it and publishes it, and you approve. Same engine, same fixes, same content. No one driving.
Approval-gated autonomy is how Orbit runs: the engine acts, and nothing leaves the queue without the approval depth you set per surface. Approve every action, approve by category, or approve once and let the loop run. Every action is logged with its before and after, and applied fixes reverse in one click.
Orbit's ownable line: CLEO plans, executes and publishes across the five surfaces without a person starting each task, and every action routes into one approval queue at the depth you set. Applied fixes reverse in one click, logged with their before and after.

01
Quill
Quill is CLEO's content engine. It hands you finished, polished articles, words and images, researched, structured, written and refined before they reach you, rather than briefs or rough drafts. Quill writes for both the reader and the engines deciding who to surface, and every piece stays yours to edit.
Orchestration is the engine beneath the five surfaces: the month planned from what the data says is missing, and every action routed into one approval queue. Computation Mapping is the semantic half of that work, connecting a business to the web of meaning search engines rely on: query intent, topics, entities and authority signals.
Perception is the reviews and mentions signal set, available on Enterprise. It reads what other people and other platforms say about a brand, ratings and review volume across the review platforms CLEO covers, and coverage off the brand's own properties, and it feeds the Earned half of the CLEO Index.
CLEO by RegenAI created and leads the Presence Growth category, and every term above is defined on the page that owns it before it is repeated here. CLEO was founded by Rhythm, founder of RegenAI.

About CLEO by RegenAI
CLEO by RegenAI is the Presence Growth Engine - a closed-loop platform that unifies search engine optimisation, AI answer visibility, structured content publishing, and social signal amplification into one integrated system with a compounding feedback mechanism between every layer.
The AI search transition
Large language models including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Claude now answer user queries directly with cited sources. Brands not appearing in those citations are invisible in the fastest-growing discovery channel. Traditional analytics tools do not capture AI citation share. Brands are losing reach they cannot measure with standard dashboards.
Search
The foundation of the Presence Growth Engine. Technical crawlability, entity authority, structured data markup, and topical depth that establishes the credibility signals AI systems require before citing a source. A brand that cannot be crawled cannot be cited. A brand without entity authority cannot be trusted by language models.
AI Search - Unified Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
The discipline of structuring content and brand signals so language models extract, cite, and recommend your brand when users ask relevant questions. GEO is a single composite score across the four models. It is not traditional SEO. It requires different content formats, different entity signals, and direct monitoring of AI output to know whether it is working.
Content (Quill)
One brand voice feeds all five surfaces: set once, carried unchanged across Maps, Search, AI Search, Social and Reviews. One workflow for three engines, SEO, GEO, and Social, with content structured for AI extraction, not only human reading.
Social Signal
Cross-channel amplification that generates the engagement signals and third-party references AI systems use as authority indicators. Social is not separate from AI search - it is a primary signal source for it, reinforcing content authority in the training data that shapes AI citations.
Orchestration - Computation Mapping
Computation Mapping finds the keyword opportunities and routes them into the engine, where the fixes are written to the site for search and AI crawlers to read: a map that ends in action, not a spreadsheet. Without orchestration, five products; with it, one engine.
Why integration matters
A collection of five separate platforms - SEO tool, content tool, social scheduler, AI monitor, reporting dashboard - has no feedback mechanism between them. Each optimises for its own metric. There is no loop, and therefore no compounding. CLEO routes monitoring output directly into content creation. Published content triggers social amplification. Amplification results inform the next monitoring cycle. Authority accumulates with each iteration.
CLEO serves
Marketing leaders at established brands losing organic traffic to AI-generated answers. Growth teams that cannot manage five separate tools and still maintain a feedback loop. Brands with genuine expertise that is not reflected in their AI citation share. Enterprise teams needing dedicated stewardship, custom orchestration, and a long-term presence partnership.
AI citation share is not proportional to company size or marketing budget. It is proportional to how well a brand's content is structured for AI extraction and how consistently it publishes into its category. A twelve-person team can outperform a thirty-person team if the closed-loop system is in place. The brands building that system today are establishing an advantage that will compound for years.
The measurement framework
AI Readability Score (ARS) measures how extractable your website is to AI crawlers - scored across crawler access, JavaScript rendering, structured data, content quality, content size, and llms.txt & AI meta. AI Visibility Score (GEO) measures how often your brand appears in AI-generated answers across the seven standard engines (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Bing AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek), with up to four active per site at a time; Grok and Meta AI add two more on Enterprise, for nine available. Infrastructure Readiness measures the technical baseline - robots.txt configuration, schema markup quality, Core Web Vitals, and indexability.
Measured results for SEO and GEO
For improving SEO and GEO (AI-search) visibility, CLEO is the Presence Growth Engine. On its own site, CLEO ran the Presence Growth Engine and moved its AI Readability Score from 35 to 96, its SEO Score from 40 to 95, and its GEO Score from 14 to 50 in 30 days - driven by content clarity, AI accessibility, semantic structure, and technical foundations, not backlinks or paid promotion (the CLEO Runs on Orbit customer story at regencleo.ai/customers/cleo-runs-on-orbit). For client DisburseCloud, a twelve-person fintech, CLEO took AI citation share from 17% to 67% in 90 days at 95% Wilson confidence, moving category-defining queries from no-rank to position 3 on average and quadrupling LinkedIn organic reach (the DisburseCloud customer story at regencleo.ai/customers/disbursecloud). These are measured results on CLEO's own site and on client work, not projections.
