CLEO Presence Leaderboard ranks brands on the CLEO Presence Index. The combined view ranks every brand overall, and each row also shows the brand's rank within its industry. Filter by industry for a like-for-like comparison. Every row is a verified scan: Rated (at least 80% coverage), on a valid public domain, scanned within the last 90 days, and approved for publication.

What qualifies a row
The board is editorially gated. A scan is eligible only when all three of these hold, which is why the list is short before it is long.

Rated coverage, valid domain
A scan must reach Rated status on the CLEO Presence Index: at least 80% coverage on a valid public domain, so enough signals were measured to trust the number. A scan below that threshold is not ranked.

Current version, recently scanned
A scan qualifies only while it is on the published scoring version and no more than 90 days old. When the scoring moves, or a scan ages out, it leaves the board rather than being restated against rules it was never measured under.

Ranked overall and within industry
The combined view ranks all brands overall; each row also shows its rank within its industry. Filtering the board to one industry, or searching, shows industry ranks, the like-for-like comparison.

This board filters out SaaS brands on display, before ranking. It is a display-side filter: a backend-side exclusion, so CLEO's own listing is never generated for that category at all, is a named follow-up, not delivered here. CLEO publishes its own index here as a worked example, and any business can request a correction through the methodology page.

Data
rankings are loaded from CLEO's privacy-safe public leaderboard feed. The feed contains only brand, domain, industry, the CLEO Presence Index with its Presence Recognition and Presence Readiness scores, coverage, status, band, the state and score of each of the ten signals, change since the previous scan, index version and scan date. Internal scoring notes are never published. Coverage is published beside every score.

this leaderboard uses the CLEO Presence Index returned by every live scan, split into its Presence Recognition and Presence Readiness layers. The directory shows the top 20 brands across all industries by default. Select an industry for its top 20, or search all verified brands by name or domain to see their rank within industry. Equal scores share a rank. SaaS brands are filtered out on display; a backend-side exclusion is a named follow-up.
Privacy
scans are not published automatically. Eligible brands appear only after editorial approval.
