· THE CENTRE OF CLEO
One centre. Every channel reads it. Every channel feeds it.
g (Gravity) is the centre of CLEO. It holds one living picture of your business, in four parts, and every channel reads it before it acts and writes back to it after it acts. The article that wins a citation teaches the next ad. The words in your reviews shape the answers AI engines give. The companies that visit your site sharpen what Quill writes next. Nothing is thrown away at the boundary between tools, because there is no boundary.

01 · The one rule
Read before act. Write after act.
No channel acts on your business without reading g first. No action completes without writing back what it changed, what it learned and, when the measurement window closes, what it did. That is the whole discipline. Everything else on this page follows from it.
Why it matters: a tool that only measures never sees what happens after a fix. g does, on every surface, so the next proposal starts from what the last one did.
The next read starts from what the last action did.
02 · Your orbit
What g looks like.
active loopintelligence returns to the centre
Three rings. Foundation: SEO, GEO and Local, because a page a machine cannot read cannot be ranked, cited or recommended. Content and community: Social, Reviews, Quill and Reels, where the brand is heard. Reach and pipeline: Ads and Leads, where presence becomes revenue.
CLEO's own site, live.g at the centre, the channels and studios around it on three rings, the loops running between them. Planet size follows activity. The arcs around g show how much of each quadrant is known.
Every outcome written back adds mass. A heavier centre holds a larger orbit.
03 · Four quadrants
What g knows.
- Brand. What you offer, who you serve, why you win, how you sound. Built from your website and your materials once, then kept current by what the channels learn.
- Audience. The questions buyers ask AI engines, the terms that convert in ads, the topics that earn engagement on social, the phrases customers use in reviews, the companies that visit your site.
- Surface.Every page, listing, social account, review platform and AI engine you live on, and what state each is in.
- Performance.Your scores, every prompt outcome, every ranking, and the ledger: what each action did, measured against a baseline, with the noise taken out.
Every fact in g carries where it came from, how confident g is, and how fresh it is. Open any fact and you see all three, and every action that used it.
Two layers.
Your layer is the four quadrants above: facts about your business, read by your channels and by nobody else's.
The global core is what CLEO has learned from every site it runs, expressed as findings: a condition, an effect, and the number of sites behind it. A listing with a physical location lifts AI recognition. A page that answers first is cited sooner for questions buyers are still exploring. A review reply rate above eight in ten moves the rating. None of these is about any one client, so they belong to every client. Your address stays in your layer; the finding that an address matters sits in the core.
Three rules keep the two apart. Findings cross into the core; facts never do, and only once at least five sites back a finding. Your layer always wins where the two disagree. A finding can change what Orbit proposes and what it expects; it can never assert anything about you. You can opt out of contributing to the core in Settings and still read all of it.
You start where the last client finished. What you build stays yours.
04 · Five loops
Every channel makes the others stronger.
None of these can run on a single surface, which is why no single-surface tool can do this.
GEO gap to citation
A question where AI engines name a rival and not you becomes an article, the article is amplified on social, and g records the day an engine first cites it.
What g measures Days to first AI citation; presence on the question at 28 days
Paid teaches organic
Ad terms that convert become tracked questions and search targets.
What g measures Presence on the new question; ranking at eight weeks
Reviews shape the voice
The words customers use in reviews shape your voice, your Google listing and the on-site answers AI engines quote.
What g measures The theme's score in AI answers; your review reply rate
Leads sharpen the audience
Companies identified on your site refine who you are for, which sharpens topics and targeting.
What g measures Visits and meetings from the segment
Social sets the topics
Posts that earn engagement tell Quill what the market cares about this week.

Worked example, Loop 1.
A question where one client was absent from every AI answer became a Quill article. Social amplified it. g recorded the day an engine first cited it, then wrote the result back, so the next article started from what worked.
Time to first AI citation:
26 days for the first article, 11 for the latest.
Loops 2 and 4 use Ads and Leads, which are in beta. Loops run only on the channels in your plan.
Orbit approves each step. Nothing goes live without a yes.
05 · Mass
How much g knows, and how much of it is proven.
Mass is a number from 0 to 1,000. Most of it is knowledge: how much of each quadrant g has filled, and how fresh and well-sourced it is. The rest is verification: how many outcomes g has measured as real, not noise. Mass rises as you connect accounts and approve work, and the orbit picture grows with it.
Mass is yours alone; the global core never adds to it. Beside a proposal that rests on a finding you see "backed by 14 sites", not a higher number.
Mass is not the CLEO Presence Index. The Index measures your presence from outside, the same way for every business, on a fixed panel. Mass measures what CLEO has learned about you from inside. The two are never blended, and the Index is the score you are judged on.
06 · Why nobody else has this
The difference is the centre.
| Who | Where it stops |
|---|---|
| AI visibility tools | AI search only. They show the gap on one surface; your team fills it on the others. Nothing from reviews, maps or ads feeds back. |
| SEO suites and autonomous SEO tools | Search and content. Some execute fixes; none reads reviews, AI answers or ad results into the next fix, and none writes into maps, reviews or leads. |
| Listings and reputation platforms | Listings, reviews and local social, executed well. No server-side fixes to your own site, no AI search execution, and what customers say in reviews never reaches the pages AI engines quote. |
| Marketing suites with goal-driven campaigns | Goal-to-plan campaigns across email, ads, SMS and CRM, re-planned from results. No maps, no server-side SEO, no third-party reviews, no AI search. |
| Agency operating platforms | Interconnected agents, operated by agency people for agency clients, built and priced for global brands. Not a product a business runs itself. |
| CLEO | Acts on every surface from one centre, records what each action led to, and gets faster every week. |
Our moat is the data no observer can collect.

World's first. On 18 September 2026, CLEO became the first engine to run a brand's entire presence autonomously, under approval. See the evidence →
07 · Three things that come with it
- Presence Intelligence, the global core. Findings from every CLEO site, with their evidence, so each new client starts where the last one finished. No fact about one client ever reaches another; you can opt out of contributing in Settings and still read the core.
- Verified playbooks. A new action runs on a few sites first and ships to every account once it shows measured lift.
- A front door wherever you work. Approve, ask and request from CLEO, your phone, email, Slack, Claude or ChatGPT, with g behind every answer.
08 · How it shows up for you
- One picture.Your orbit, live, on the first page of your site in CLEO.
- One inbox.Everything Orbit wants to do, each item with why it was proposed and what g will measure. Say yes, ask for a change, or say no.
- One ledger.Every action, its before and after, and whether the change was real.
- One memory.Your brand, voice, personas and editorial gates, with a source and a date on every field, and the things g has learned from your channels waiting for you to confirm.

Frequently asked questions
The centre of CLEO: one living picture of your business, in four parts, that every channel reads before it acts and writes back to after it acts. Gravity is its full name; g is how it appears in the product.
No. g is on every plan. Loops run on the channels your plan includes.
No. g changes what Orbit proposes and why. Every proposal still waits for your yes at the depth you set.
Yes, through the global core, and only as findings: generalised rules with the number of sites behind them, holding no fact, page, prompt, review or client identifier from anyone. Your own facts stay in your layer and are read by nobody else. You can opt out of contributing and still read the core.
A fact is about you: your address, your proof points, the question you are absent from. A finding is about businesses like yours: that having an address on the listing lifts AI recognition, backed by a count of sites. Facts live in your layer. Findings live in the core.
No. The Index measures your presence from outside; Mass measures what CLEO has learned about you. They are never blended.
The heavier the centre, the stronger the pull. Every outcome written back adds mass, and a heavier centre holds a larger orbit.
